BIO

Malcolm K. G. (b. 1993, Dublin, Georgia) is a visual artist currently based in Los Angeles, California. His distinctive visual language emerges from a technical synthesis of hatching principles and scratch-board techniques, resulting in compositions that evoke the aesthetic of metal etching. G. works through a process that begins with digital drawing, culminating in the transfer of his visions to metal canvas through dye-sublimation printing—a methodology that bridges traditional artistic approaches with contemporary technological processes.

G.'s work explores deeply personal psychological terrain, examining themes of depression, acceptance, anxiety, and peace through the lens of past and present experiences. His compositions navigate the tensions between internal conflicts and moments of resolution, firmly positioning his practice within the lineage of Surrealism. The artist's meticulous hatching technique creates dreamlike imagery that transcends ordinary perception, inviting viewers to contemplate the subconscious dimensions of human experience through his distinctive metal-rendered visions.
